Trunk shows are a major part of our industry, particularly for the designers themselves. These shows allows the designers to sit down and talk directly with their consumers to find out what they like and what they don't like. Stores also benefit from the trunk shows because they bring people into their stores but the stores themselves are not in charge of the merchandise presented at these shows.
A "trunk show" is a special sale in which vendors present merchandise directly to store personnel or select customers at a retail location or another unique venue.

I haven't attended any trunk shows myself, but hopefully in the near future I will.

ReplyDeleteI really like how you explained in depth the benefits of having a trunk show! I attended one before and I think they're really great it is much more of an intimate atmosphere and you get to see the clothing up close.

ReplyDeleteI used to work in bridal at a designer Amsale and trunk shows were very exciting and crucial for brides and bridesmaids to see our dresses and how great they are :) Trunkshows are also a great place to spot sales and special deals!
